Solving your queries and complaints

If you want to make a complaint, or you have a problem understanding our processes or something we have done, please let us know, so we can address the problem.

We’re here to help with your imported vehicle financing and all our people are committed to resolving any issues you may have. Please contact any of our staff to discuss.

If you are still not 100% satisfied, please contact one of our Directors, Geoff Sinclair, John Laird or Richard Laird. They will take up your concerns. You can contact them by email, on the normal Blackbird Finance contact telephone numbers, or on 0800 000 999. We will acknowledge your complaint within 3 working days, and will respond to you within 20 working days.

If even this does not address your complaint fully, your next step is to contact Financial Services Complaints Ltd (FSCL), one of the external dispute resolution schemes for our industry. This independent body is approved by the Ministry of Consumer Affairs. Blackbird Finance is a member of FSCL, member number 3725. Complaints to FSCL need to meet certain criteria which are outlined on their website (see the link below).

FSCL's service does not cost you anything and they will help resolve the complaint.
