Directors
John Laird - John has many years experience in structured finance and arranging
equity investments as the recent Head of ANZ Investment Bank. John is a
director of several small public and private companies.
John Balgarnie – John has many years experience as CFO for Fay Richwhite &
Capital Markets & as well as being a former partner in Porter Wigglesworth.
Steve Tietjens (independent) - Steve brings a wealth of corporate advice
& finance company experience through past associations over 20
years with AGC, Prime & many other finance companies.
Shareholders
Blackbird Finance is a private company owned by
New Zealand individuals.
All of the non independent directors have a personal
shareholding in Blackbird Finance.
Funding
Blackbird finance does not raise funds from the public.
It has raised significant capital from its shareholders and has
a large long term committed facility from Fortress Credit Corporation.
Fortress Credit Corporation is a subsidiary of Fortress Investments,
a publicly listed New York based fund manager with in excess
of US$30 Billion of equity funds under management.
